Any chatter on this? (Loft Hotel Tribeca]   Some kind of joint venture between Sam Chang (McSam Hotels, Hilton Garden Inn Tribeca, HoJo on East Houston, etc) and HERSHA.

Hmm.  Haven't heard anything yet.  The website claims this "residential feel" property is opening in 2006, and their mission is "to have a unique refuge of timeless comfort, service with unrivaled care, and courtesy that is not found elsewhere."

Time will tell.  Let us know if y'all hear anything about the coming Loft Hotel Tribeca.
