Miami Beach Hotel Scene: The Setai
August 24, 2005 at 10:23 AM | 0 Comments

The Setai hotel boasts Asian style decor, flat-screen TVs, its own recording studio and during the coming VMA festivities Yahoo! Music will throw a party on the penthouse level.
This place has star appeal, for sure, but many guests have written to us disappointed once they step inside the Setai.
A recent guest quipped:
They are very dark and square, with wood slat blinds and brown and black and grey everything. Not breezy and beachy and dramatic. It felt like winter. Also low, low ceilings and some empty spaces on walls.
Expectations are always high when you pay over $500 a night. Our advice? Hit this place up for the VMA party scene and move along.
As always, if you have stayed at the Setai let us know what you thought in the comments section below.
