Miami Beach Hotel Scene: The Sagamore

When the Sagamore is in a bragging mood, she speaks of spacious rooms, a fishbowl pool passers-by can gawk at, and a great central location. However, when the Sagamore is being self critical, she whispers about a cadre of rooms that are not up to snuff, lacking some basics like curtains and lighting. Our advice? If you get a bum room, march down to the front desk and try to upgrade.

Despite the hit or miss nature of the rooms, the Sagamore is set to be one of THE hotels for next week's VMA festivities.  You could see Jimmy Fallon or Missy Elliott in a private poolside cabana, as both are Sagamore fans--wait a second, is it a good thing to see either of the aforementioned people poolside?  Probably not.  However, Jessica Alba will be hosting the August 27th US Weekly party, and Jessica Alba poolside is sure to draw a crowd.
