Cheap Vegas Hotel Option

After our disaster at the Mandalay we have been on the lookout for affordable Vegas hotels, without major issues.

It has come to our attention that the Orleans Casino might be one such place.

Sure it is not on the strip, has run-of-the-mill rooms, and goes around saying "it's Mardi Gras 365 days a year here," however, rates hover around $100, and read what an assortment of recent visitors had to say about the place:

Check in was a breeze. No line and plenty of folks to check you in.

Housekeeping does an amazing job - each day I'd come back from breakfast at 8:30 and my room would already be clean! Some people who sleep late might get disturbed by this but I found it very impressive.

Overall: pleased with our stay, especially after the trauma of staying at the Mandalay. Would recommend the Orleans heartily.

Ok, so let's summarize:
If you stay out until the sunrises there is a chance you could get a quick check-in, timely room cleaning, AND you don't have to experience the trauma of the Mandalay.
