You know that old saying, "If you can't be with your dog, then love the dog you're with." uh...right?
Well the Fairmont Copley Plaza in Boston has a dog on staff to fulfill all your "man's best friend" needs.
Catie is a black Labrador retriever who was formally trained as a guide dog. She has since decided to switch careers and enter the field of hotel hospitality.
"As 'canine ambassador,' Catie greets guests who miss the companionship of their own pets, and accompanies them on walks and jogs. She even has her own booklet featuring her favourite walks, an appointment book, business cards and an e-mail address (catie.copley@fairmont.com)."
The Fairmont Washington, D.C. is currently training Jana, a black Labrador retriever puppy to be a guide dog and is being "socialized at the hotel."
Jana is learning how to restock the mini-bar. (Just kidding!)
She can be reached at: janathedog@fairmont.com.
