James Hotel Kicks it Up a Notch
When we gave a one-year update on the James Hotel we had yet to decide if it was a desert rose or a barren wasteland.
Well, the folks at InTouch have deemed it "a hotel where the celeb scene is hot by day and even hotter at night."
Some celebs that have frequented this hotel in Scottsdale, Arizona? Nicole Richie, Jessica Simpson, George Clooney, and Kevin Bacon.
Reasons why they stay there? 300-thread count sheets, 42-inch plasma screens in each room, wireless internet access, a 5-star restaurant, a spa and two pools, one for play and one for chilling.
Each room also comes with a variety of amenities like Turkish towels, "munchie" boxes filled with chips and candy, martini mixing kits and a deluxe sound system.
If you are VIP, the staff will do its best to fill your room with things they know you'll like, like certain pieces of art, or a favorite cereal.
And you don't need to be a celebrity to stay here, with rooms starting at $99 a night.
Look for a Chicago outpost to open next winter.
