This months Condé Nast Traveler "Room With A View" is from the Southern Hemisphere--the bizzaro world. Winter is summer, spring is fall, and the toilets flush backwards.

Despite the ass backwards nature of the southern hemisphere, this ungodly heat is making us want to head down to Hotel Portillo in Chile and go riding.

Rooms are ~$1750, however, that includes seven nights, seven days of meals, and an eight day lift ticket.  Our math brings the moving daily average to around $250.

Portfillo is the only game and town--cause there is no town, just a mountain, the hotel, and the Lake of the Incas.

Oh, and there is a WiFi connection, so we could conceivably publish this here web magazine slope side.
