NY Times Hits The Wynn
Lately it seems every travel writer is reviewing the Wynn Las Vegas. Since we are now almost two months after the Wynn open, maybe the Wynn PR machine is lookin' for a little good press as competition heats up. This weekend NY Times scribe Fred Bernstein weighs in on the Emperor's prize hotel.
Bernstein appears to have enjoyed his stay, though the story reads more like a fact file than a hotel review.
Here are a couple interesting lines from the review:
*Tip: book a room on the 28th floor, the first stop for the express elevators.
*The Bottom Line In summer, rooms start at $179, and suites at $400. Parking is free, but extras ($12 for Internet access; $8 for potato chips) add up.
*breakfast for two came to $73.
$20 for 24 hours of Internet access and a bag of potato chips? The add-ons really add up at the Death Star, don't they?
