W LES: Crop Circles Or Inevitable Ground Breaking?

Curbed readers are speculating that this Starwood press release could mean that those little Orchard St. rumors just grew legs.

W's project XYZ is described in the release:

XYZ will feature urban inspired loft-like guest-rooms, landscaped outdoor space for socializing day and night, and an energetic lounge scene, providing a lifestyle alternative to brands like Courtyard by Marriott and Hilton Garden Inn.

Time will tell if these rumors are just crop circles, or if there is something to them.

In the meantime, we will continue to bring you the latest, and of course if we get anything official, either way, we will pass it on to you.
