Daily Candy Goes Down Under

Where: Sydney, Australia
June 9, 2005 at 9:33 AM | by juliana | 0 Comments

This week, Daily Candy has gone hotel hunting down under.

In Sydney, Australia, the DC gals recommend swimming, shopping and flirting.

Their recommendations for "nesting," as they call lodging, range from trendy to insanely expensive.

At the downtown spot for lushes, the Establishment Hotel, DC says "Old world meets new world" at this place of 13 bars.

The hotel says it's "an intimate private luxury hotel" with 33 guest rooms, and two penthouse suites.

We said two months ago "Establishment is located... in the heart of everything. Even if you can't pony up the funds to stay here it may be worth a night time visit to experience one of the many bars."

More options in Sydney after the jump.

The W at the Wharf in Woolloomooloo is for those who can't stand to leave NYC behind or as DC says:

"All the fabulosity of NYC with all the serenity of Sydney Harbor."

Those who want a beachfront stay can hit up Ravesi's where the motto is eat, play, stay.

And lastly, because we are out of words, we'll let DC handle this last option.

"If you're dating, say, Steve Forbes and he wants to, oh, cut an album, the Moog Hotel is your spot. The $1,000-per-night, one-room hotel comes equipped with a recording studio and Jacuzzi screening room."
