The lead guitarist for the band Rush, Alex Zivojinovich, whose stage name is Alex Lifeson, is suing the Ritz-Carlton,  its security director and three sheriff's deputies stemming from a New Year's Eve 2003 altercation at the Naples hotel.

Lifeson's son and daughter-in-law are also named as plaintiffs in the suit.

Apparently, Lifeson's son, Justin Zivojinovich got a little too crazy on stage during a house band break while ringing in 2004 and the security man-handled them to get down.

According to the court documents filed on Thursday:

"Michelle Zivojinovich was illegally arrested when she complained about the force used to subdue her husband.

Deputies said Alex Zivojinovich pushed a female deputy down a stairwell and spit in another deputy's face when he tried to intervene. Zivojinovich, a founding member of Rush, suffered a broken nose and other injuries in the scuffle."

Basically, everybody got arrested and now they want payback for all the mental anguish they were caused.

In a statement we completely made up, Alex Zivojinovich said the Ritz security team should:

Catch the mist
Catch the myth
Catch the mystery
Catch the drift
