If you had to choose between Atlantic City and Las Vegas, of course you would choose Vegas, baby, Vegas.

But if you had to choose between another night at the Jersey shore in Belmar with Guido and Vinnie or Atlantic City, choose AC and stay at The Borgata.

It's almost like being in Vegas.

The Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa opened its doors nearly two years ago and was the first new hotel to open in AC for 13 years.

It's the hippest hotel-casino in the city too.

Taking lessons from the Vegas masters, the Borgata has a huge, sprawling  entrance with gaming tables and slots right at your feet as you step into the door.

The colors are neutral (no gimmicky MGM Green), the design high-end. Think Mandalay Bay and Bellagio.

Rooms start at about $200 for a classic room. Suites go for about $300.

And while AC has always been a haven for little old ladies, The Borgata attracts the young crowd, especially its club, The Mixx. But look for lots of Bachelorette parties and large groups of dudes following the ladies around.
