On departure day, we dropped
our bags underneath the info table (other guests bags were there), gave
the keys to Ken (the co-owner), and went into their patio for
breakfast. A few minutes later, I ran back in to ask Ken a question and
there he was with my bag OPEN and touching around. I ask him if
something was wrong with the bag and he replied that he wanted to put a
book back into the guest luggage. I was SHOCKED.
Of course, this is only one guests story, however it is a difficult one to swallow. If you are considering staying at the Inn, or already have reservations here, we suggest getting Ken on the phone and asking him for his side of the story before you book. The alleged incident took place two years ago, and we are a forgiving society, right?
Seriously, the Inn is worth consideration, but not until you grill Ken, Mike Wallace style, and make your own determinations on his guilt, innocence, and current state of contriteness .
