The Cruise-Holmes Family Converge At The Carlyle

According to the New York Post, Katie Holmes has invited her parents to stay with her and Tom Cruise while the couple are in NYC for the "War of the Worlds" premiere.

And that's not all. Tom's mom and sister/publicist are also staying with TomKat at the Carlyle Hotel.

"They have a huge suite and his mom and sister [his spokeswoman Lee Anne DeVette] are there and her parents are there. It's kind of a 'get to know you before the kids get married' session," said a source.

Or maybe it's a brainwashing session because Katie's parents supposedly aren't too keen about Scientology and the whole "purge your soul of dead space aliens stuff."
