A la Armani, Vera Wang has designed a honeymoon suite at the Halekulani Resort in Waikiki which formally opened on June 1.

The Vera Wang Suite is the first fashion designer-branded suite in Hawaii.

And of course, it's not cheap.

"The 2,135-square-foot, one-bedroom suite costs $4,000 -- per night. It is one of the priciest hotel rooms in Hawaii. State hotel and excise taxes for the suite alone are about $450 a night."

Wang got engaged while in Hawaii, which is why she chose her room here, and she's only doing one, not hundreds like the other fashion designers.

In addition, "the second-floor oceanfront suite offers sweeping views of Diamond Head, an extinct volcano that is Hawaii's most famous landmark. Guests can hear the sound of rolling waves outside."

Plus when you are inside the suite, you cannot escape the magic that is Vera.

"All meals are served with Vera Wang china, crystal and flatware, and the menu includes some of Wang's favorite comfort foods. The decorative pillows use fabric from Wang's apparel. The DVD collection is composed of her favorite films including "The King and I," "When Harry Met Sally," and "Lost in Translation."

The Halekulani is also opening a Vera Wang boutique that will sell all of Wang's products.
