As most of you know, just because it's summer and there's no snow on the ground doesn't mean that ski resorts go out of business.

Some can even be more fun in the summer than the winter. Think about it: No runny noses, no threat of frost bite or broken limbs and no waiting in lift lines.

Squaw Valley in California is just one of these resorts that turn into Summer Fun when the powder goes away.

Your days can be spent tubing the Truckee river for $15. Or you can watch free PG movies at the outdoor village plaza on Thursdays. You can conquer the Hiking trails leading to Squaw peak, or even play golf.

The Village at Squaw offers two-bedroom condos for $179 a night.

For a one-bedroom condo suite, starting June 1, if you buy 3 nights, you get the fourth for free. Rates are $223.50 per person based on double occupancy.

In addition, the resort offfers a "High Camp Swimming Lagoon and Spa Package" which includes a one night stay and 2 tickets to High Camp swimming lagoon and spa where you can swim and hike. (There's also a skating rink there if you miss the winter sports a little bit.)

A one bedroom mid-week runs for $185, minus taxes and resort fees.  A two-bedroom mid-week goes for $262. On the weekends, price increases about $30. Offers are valid from June 25-September 5, 2005.
