Armani to Open 10 Hotels - First one in Dubai
June 2, 2005 at 9:01 AM | 0 Comments
The contract has been signed and a partnership between Giorgio Armani and Mohamed Ali Alabbar of Emaar Hotel & Resorts LLC has been born.
According to the agreement Armani is set to open 10 hotels under the name of Armani Hotels and Resorts. The plan is for 7 luxury hotels and three vacation resorts. The deal stipulates that Giorgio will oversee the design and style of all the interiors and amenities (duh! Clean lines everywhere, people!) and the Emaar group will be responsible for all that fussy business stuff like construction, management and operations.
The first property is set to open sometime in 2008 and is part of the Emaar Properties Burj Dubai development, which will be the world's tallest residential and commercial building when finished.
