Flatotel: How do you pronounce this?

Is this supposed to be a combination of "flat" like in an apartment and "hotel?"

Anyways, Jay Mohr of "Last Comic Standing" shame and Nikki Cox of "Las Vegas" and that show with Greg the Bunny, were spotted making out while they were checking out of Flatotel after celebrating their six-month anniversary (gag.)

That is sort of funny since the last time we wrote about this place, it wasn't a romantic hotel.

"Don't go to Flatotel looking for romance. This is not a trendy boutique atmosphere, it is clean, quiet, workhorse hotel. Go here to get your work done and you will probably be happy."

[brief pause while we pat ourselves on the back for being a prophesier...of sorts]

And for the record, "Flatotel offers boutique hotel intimacy with apartment size rooms."
