What's The Deal With LES's Blue Moon Hotel?

A few weeks ago we heard the the Blue Moon Hotel was up for sale, now Travel & Leisure is featuring the supposedly deceased property in their June 2005 Manhattan Lowdown section.

So what gives? Is this a classic case of a monthly print pub fact checking mistake? Or is T&L's posthumous nod to the Blue Moon a sign of a coming LES hotel resurrection?
