The pool area at HotelQT is officially open--we snapped this photo yesterday.

Earlier this week, the lobby/bar/pool area was christened with what seemed like an extremely orchestrated run by pieing during the Radar Magazine launch party. We will let the recently pied review the lobby/pool area for you after the break.

Here is Nick Denton's account of HotelQT:

The new Andre Balazs property is a fancified flophouse, cramped and cheap, but with a thin layer of launch glamor, that will last a season. Or, forget the metaphor, maybe the hotel and the magazine just share the same PR agency. That's usually how these things work.
