Travelzoo points us to one of the best Vegas hotel deals we have seen in a while.

The Venetian is celebrating Las Vegas's 100th birthday by offering $100 rates on their huge suites.

The special is valid for select midweek (Sun.-Thurs.) summer dates, and even many of their weekend dates are priced at $199 throughout the summer.  You must book by May 24 to take advantage of this deal.

Could this be the Venetian responding to the opening of the Wynn and other Vegas hotel competitors?  Maybe we have a hotel room price war on our hands...let's hope so.
