The Hemp Hotel is located near both the Heineken Brewery and the Albert Cuypstraat market in Amsterdam, oh, and go figure, this little hotel promotes hemp products. If you are looking for the ideal place to give in to Amsterdam's stereotypical image this may be it. Hemp beer, hemp ice cream, hemp seeds, hemp breakfasts, you get the picture.

If you stay here you will only pay ~70€ for a double room with a private shower, however, as one review put it, "don't expect the Holiday Inn". That should sufficiently set your expectations. If you don't stay the night you can always just saunter over during the day and check the place out.

Oh, and if you think the Hemp Hotel is too small and in need of renovations, why don't you stop complaining about it online and actually help a hippie out? Invest in the Hemp Hotel.
