[Editor's Note: We just called the Tropicana to check this out, and it appears true. The front desk claims WiFi is available at the pool and in conference rooms for $14.95 a day...no word on how you actually get online once you pay your money. Enjoy Hotel Maven Vadershero take below.]

Tropicana WiFi Adventure After The Break

Looking for good internet in your Las Vegas resort? Don't look to Tropicana to provide it.

When you check in there is a standee stating that there is wireless internet, just ask for information. I did just that, and no one knew anything about said WiFi. Some folks even told me that the hotel didn't offer WiFi. I show them the sign and the Tropicana staff was baffled.

One person finally confirmed that WiFi was available at the pool. So we put on our suits and trekked what seemed like two miles to the pool. Once poolside, we found a live signal, but alas, no sign in screen or any way to get online.

The lone 'business' desk was unmanned, thus after several attempts to log on we gave up and enjoyed our sit in the hot tub and the cold mile walk back to our room.
