The new owners of The Plaza hotel, Elad Properties, have reached a tentative agreement with the New York hotel Trades Council today to keep some "elegant interior space" intact and Elad Properties also agreed to cut down the number of condos and increase hotel space.

The deal will save hundreds of jobs and is expected to be confirmed by Mayor Michael Bloomberg later today.
