Wynn: Now Fully Operational

Richard Chen, who helped run Shanghai Terrace at The Peninsula Chicago, recently signed on as the final Wynn Las Vegas chef.

Ten of the 19 restaurants and bars at Wynn Las Vegas will be chef-driven concepts.  The hope is that Wynn will be a restaurant incubator of sorts, exporting successful restaurants to other locals.

"This is it. The last piece in the puzzle," said one of Wynn's Royal Guards, at the $2.7 billion resort.

Then with a laugh she looked at us and said, "I think it is time we demonstrate the full power of this operation." Just kidding.

We anxiously await April 28.
