While the Cactus League plays ball in Flagstaff, Ariz., the Grapefruit league hits up some warmth in Tampa, Fla.

The New York Yankees are one of the four teams from the MLB training now in Tampa and hard-core Yankee fans only stay at the Radisson Bay Harbor Hotel while in the Sunshine State.

Why?

Because George Steinbrenner owns it and has declared it the official team hotel.

Despite the great views of lovely Tampa Bay, the moderate price of $165 a night, and the Yankee merchandise in the gift shop, Derek Jeter won't be showing up at the front desk anytime soon.

These guys are used to plush accommodations and not mold on the ceilings.

As one disgruntled recent Boss hotel guest wrote:

"Mold on the ceilings. Huge water stains all over the ceiling (wonder how much leaked out on the beds??). Carpet in the room had multiple blood-like stains. Management said it was orange gatorade (stains were red). Poor air condition system. Dirty bathroom. Poor maid service. Multiple burnt out lightbulbs. Room switch refused."

But look for Jason "The Clear" Giambi who might be cleaning up the "orange Gatorade" stains as a way to get back into baseball's good graces.

Oh, and Yankees? Get use to this chant: Year Two Thou Sand--
