Desert Relationship Saving Hotels

When celebrities need to "save their relationship", or are feeling too stressed out from "work"--you know sitting around in a trailer for half a day memorizing three lines and using your Sidekick is such a brain drain--they call up their driver to whisk them to Palm Springs, just a mere two hour drive from their house in the hills.
This week, US Weekly tells us where to stay when you visit the only place on earth with a bronze statue of Sonny Bono in the center of town.
The Lodge at Rancho Mirage is most famous for the $4 million pink vomit wedding ABC threw for Bachelorette Trista and her made for TV hubby Ryan Sutter in 2003.
Yet the hotel redeems itself by being the host to more A-listers like John Travolta, Bruce Springsteen and Jennifer Lopez. The hotel also knows that stars like to drink but have to avoid carbs which is why rooms can come equipped with a low-carb minibar. Rooms start at $219.
Another hotspot is The Parker Palm Springs, which is a hipster hotel recently redone by Jonathan Adler. The hotel made news in the fall for being the place where Lindsay and Wilmer had a last ditch effort to save their "relationship." Other celebs on the guest list? "Desperate Housewives" Teri Hatcher and Ashley Judd. Rooms start at $325.
