This month CN Traveler's back page is all about the Palazzo Sant'Angelo in Venice

Located on the big part of the canal, between the Ponte di Rialto and the Academy, the Palazzo Sant'Angelo looks out across the canal to other Italian manse like structures. By now we all know that Venice is sinking, so you only have 300 years, or so, to see the city--before it crashes into the Adriatic. If you get a room on the front side of the hotel you will be treated to the postcard views pictured to the right.

On the other hand, no matter what room the front desk puts you in, you will still have access to the hotel's own private pier, and all the boats that dock there.

A quick check of March mid week web site rates showed prices between 180€-250€.
