By now you know we recently toured San Francisco's newest hotel, and we are happy to report they are officially open.

Oh, and hey THOR, get this, Hotel Vitale said they were going to open in March of 2005 and they did--imagine that.

The Vitale opening was low key, and by that we mean no penguins.

Some Highlights & Questions:

  • Views are amazing unbeatable.
  • Prices are steep, for a hotel in SF.
  • 199 Rooms.
  • The best SF hotel terrace we have seen, maybe because we have never found another passable hotel terrace in The City.
  • JDV, who developed this hotel also did the Kabuki Spa--so clothing is optional in the Vitale outdoor tubs.
  • Why don't these hotel designers ever put the flat screen televisions in a spot you can actually watch them.

Ok that is it for now.  If you stay here before we do, let us know how the overnight experience is.
