SubStandard Low Rate Up To $165

Our friends over at Gridskipper are in the midst of a cool series on "knowing your hotelier".  

Today they profiled Balazs, and some how got through it without mentioning Uma, congrats.

Besides the story being thankfully Uma-less, two things stood out:

1.  Gridskipper mentioned Hotel QT was not yet open.  Since we had already received reviews and reports from folks who stayed at QT we lobbed a call in to QT to check, and they are indeed open.

2.  The lowest rate Gridskipper found was a $165 rate.  We heard rumors of a $99 rate, however, Hotel QT confirmed the $99 opening rate is now a thing of the past, and at this point if you want to bunk at the "SubStandard" it will cost you at least $165.

Thanks to Gridskipper for letting us know $165 is now the cover charge at QT.
