Barry Opens In Vegas
The other Barry, the one that isn't dogged by flaxseed oil controversies, opened to a full house last Thursday night out in Vegas.
Elton John and Vegas big dog Steve Wynn were in the audience listening to 58-year-old Manilow belt out "Copacabana" and "It's a Miracle."
One of the perks the Las Vegas Hilton threw in for Manilow is the right to stay in their 15,000-square-foot penthouse suite throughout his performance run.
How does Barry rate? The LV Hilton penthouse suite is the same space Elvis stayed in while he performed for the hotel.
"Manilow: Music and Passion" is booked for 24 weeks, through 2006.
