Wishful thinking yes, but...

Last Thursday night, New York hotelier Jason Pomeranc of 60 Thompson fame, hosted Luke Wilson, Ozzy Osbourne and the Black Eyed Peas at the Vanity Fair "Amped" party Thursday night at his newest prize possession, the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in L.A. The hotel, set to re-open this spring.

As we told you last week, The Roosevelt held the first ever Oscar ceremony in 1929. Could Pomeranc and the Roosevelt take back the awards ceremony? Doubtful, but it would be cool if they did, wouldn't it?

Oh, and a West Coast HotelChatter correspondent was in the Roosevelt for the show. The photo to the right of the Black Eyed Peas performing comes straight from her camera phone. Man, doesn't Fergie look great, oh, wait, you can't tell.

Hey, at least we were in the building. What were you doing last Thursday? Sitting down for another rousing episode of Book Smarts vs Street Smarts?
