These Wingate Inn's just keep popping up.

The opportunity to get inside has alluded us to date, however, we keep hearing rave reviews from both the Hotel Mavens and the travel pubs.

The Wingate may look like a pre-fab-strip-mall-bullshit hotel, however, inside these little Inns seem to offer good service and excellent business perks.

  • Free high speed Internet (wireless and wired)

  • Two-line speakerphone with voicemail and conference call capabilities

  • Free local calls

  • Copying and printing services are available for free

The Wingate Inn in Raleigh-Durham NC was another hotel featured in the Business 2.0 travel pull-out. Furthermore, we are starting to get the feeling most Wingate's around the country could be a good solution for the budget conscious business traveler.

For all we know your bloated corporation gives you a $250 hotel stipend when you travel to NC, even so, you could check-in to the Wingate for under $100 a night and pocket the remaining $150 for "entertainment". Consider it micro-trickle-down-economics.
