Disney in Asia: The Mouse is Busy

February 25, 2005 at 4:14 PM | by | Comments (0)

The Los Angeles Times reported today that the Walt Disney Co. is looking to plan a modest theme park in Seoul, Korea complete with shops and restaurants. As we reported earlier, in September, Disney expects to open the 210-acre theme park in Hong Kong, China. However, Disney is also trying to finagle a deal for a park to open by 2010 in Shangai. After that, they plan on building a Shangai Disney resort--what else?. Cross your fingers it's a replica of the Port Orleans French Quarter.
