Hotel Omm Award Winner With Attitude?

Yah know how sometimes someone wins an award and develops a bit of an attitude? Well we find that "unacceptable".

Hotel Omm, in Barcelona, was the big winner for hotels under 75 rooms in T&L's March design awards issue.

"Bright, airy rooms against moody, barely lit hallways and stylish lobby areas. The curtain wallworks as more than an aesthetic statement; it also effectively blocks traffic noise and adds an aura of intimacy to the rooms."

However, while the Omm's location is central, and its design no doubt cutting edge, we wonder about the service, which can some times be lacking in a design gem like Omm. Unfortunately, Omm's service appears to be in need improvement. Recent visitors have been put off by the restaurant wait staff ,as well as the hotel staff in general. Perhaps the Omm folks have developed a bit of an attitude?

Hopefully Omm will improve its service so folks can enjoy a brilliantly designed hotel without the attitude.
