To the left is the reality we are faced with here at HotelChatter headquarters. It is not a nice day in the Northeast. Where would we rather be? In the place pictured to the right, of course.

La Casa Que Canta is a 18 room thatched roof resort with adobe walls that overlooks Zihuatanejo Bay.

One couple books a room here year in and year out:

My husband and I have been going to casa que canta for 11 consecutive years. actually we went 2x the 1st year. its a place to rest and relax. the food is great and we have never gotten sick. we stay a week each time and do venture into town by foot (during the day) or by taxi. the town is authentic and less touristy then most although the city depends on its tourists. the views from each room are beautiful and u can walk to the beach down the hill which seems never crowded. our hosts are wonderful and the service perfect.

Thanks for making us even more jealous. Did we tell you that as we write this some sort of ice thunderstorm is going on outside? A freakin' ice thunderstorm. Think about that as you quaff your next tequila shot--you lucky bastards.
