HotelChatter 2005 Award :: Best Hotel Hell Story

The competition was fierce in this category--Italy's dirty little hotel rooms, service imploding at the Mandalay Bay, and one hotel allegedly kicking a family to the curb at 1 am all made this decision difficult.  However, in the end, a New York City hotel ran away with this one.

It is one thing to have a fiery morning wake up call, but when one tipster emailed us saying "didn't get mugged or infected at Hotel Carter", we knew who our winner was.
