Quite Possibly The Best Hotel Deal In South Beach

We recently spent a night at fashion designer Todd Oldham's property.
The Hotel of South Beach is located just a block away from the Ocean Drive craziness, two blocks form the beach, and right on top of some of the best shopping in Sobe.
The hotel feels quite a bit gayer than the hotels up on Collins--not sure why, but it does.
If you are looking to get the most bang for your buck, this place has to be near the top of your list.
We paid $155 for a night, and $10 for self service parking, courtesy of the bellman's tip. This is by far one of the best hotel deals in Miami Beach.
WiFi is free throughout the property and the hotel is completely free of any sort of pretensions, which is saying a lot in Sobe.
So is there anything wrong with this place? Cheers, jeers, and more photos after the break.
Cheers:
· Decent rooms.
· Smart, bright colored bathrooms complete with rainforest shower.
· Comfortable, but small rooftop pool scene.
· In-room desk and free WiFi throughout the property
· Friendly, unpretentious staff and clientele.
Jeers:
· At its core, it is still a motel.
· No expansive SoBe pool scene.
· No clock in the room.
