The web is abuzz with ski resort rhetoric. Yet one the coolest new ski hotels is getting very little coverage.

Adara Hotel, the latest addition, to the not-so-secret Whistler mountain scene, is an urban-chalet style three-story resort located in the village center.

It's the epitome of boutique lodging: small, stylish, hip, but it also promises service--guests will be greeted by name. There will also be a outdoor hot tub with Whistler views. The larger of the 41 rooms contain flat screen televisions, high speed Internet access, patios and full kitchens and "floating fireplaces". All include a mountain views. Adara opens for reservations January 2, 2006
