Delicious Delano
The art deco Delano Hotel sports all white rooms with a small TV and no pay-per-view. In general, the rooms are sparsely decorated, and what is in-room is either small or outdated, or both.
That being said, the Delano is still one of the hottest spots in South Beach.
The pool scene is smart and chill. House music plays all day and most of the night, drinks are served semi-promptly, and after dark the gorgeous staff exchanges beach loungers for mattresses, creating an interesting lounge atmosphere. Poolside cabanas with flat screen televisions and an outdoor eating area round out the environment.
What really caught our attention at Delano was the food. Plenty of points for presentation. The post brunch desserts looked oh so tasty.
