Hotel In Question: Setai

Zagat's Take:

This Miami Beach one-year-old from Amanresort co-founder Adrian Zecha sports a sleek, Asian-inspired silhouette and muted color scheme that just may toy with guests' sense of place; the all-suite accommodations are decked out with daybed seating, Acqua di Parma toiletries and in-room tubs for treatments without having to don a bathrobe; in addition to the spa itself, a restaurant, several bars and a pool offer distractions from all that sand and sea.

HotelChatter's Take:
Gotta be honest Zag It, we have no idea what you are talking about on this one.  Is that a review?  A description? This we will grant you, Setai is new, and we keep hoping that its newness is somehow an excuse for the lack of service the Hotel Mavens have been reporting thus far.

We hear: Lenny Kravitz's long awaited Setai penthouse music studio is still under construction (God, it has to be finished by now), that Mariah Carey allegedly hooked up with a Donkey at this property, and that the plebs have experienced rude service, no service, and found the suites "felt like winter."  Granted, it is only year one. Seinfeld got a lot better in its second year so maybe the Setai will as well.
