Vikram Redies For A December Night

November 4, 2005 at 12:23 PM | by markj | 0 Comments

Boldface Names Campbell Robertson caught up with Vikram Chatwal at the opening of the Chopra Center and Spa in the Dream Hotel this past Tuesday night.

Vikram was celebrating his birthday, the new Chopra Center, his coming Times Square Hotel, and still mourning the loss of bringing girls back to his pad:

We delicately mentioned a recent interview in an Indian newspaper in which Mr. Chatwal was quoted as saying, referring to the impending end of his bachelor days, "I'll miss not bringing home a girl at night." Did you get in any trouble with the fiancée over that line?

"I think - you know, it was construed, to put into my voice. They said, 'Are you going to miss going home with women?' And I said: 'Yeah, I guess so. People miss things.' Words were played around. I guess you could say I somewhat acknowledged that line."

"I will miss it, though."

The big news isn't that VC still sounds kinda waffly on this whole monogamy thing. The really big news is that in the article he confirmed that Night, his new Times Square hotel, will open in December.

Again, let's hope he gets this one right.
