W South Beach Still A Holiday Inn

The W South Beach CoTel may be on its way (2008?), but for now the future home of W South Beach is the big yellow Holiday Inn.

Strange thing is, this is a bit of an odd spot for a Holiday Inn--way up on Collins, far removed from the tourist area of South Beach.

In any event, you may be pressing your luck if you stay at a hotel living on borrowed time, then again, you may find some bottom of the barrel deals.

W has opened a sales office on the 12th floor of the property.
