Bed bugs are back
Tuesday's New York Times has an article written to scare the bejeezus out of you: bedbugs are slowly but surely infesting homes and hotels across the city.
While in 2003 there were just 16 logged bedbug violations, last year found 377, and there have been 449 this year since July alone. Richard Kourbage, who owns an extermination company, is quoted as saying, "Anyone who stays in a hotel, rich or poor, can bring them home in a suitcase. Some of the best hotels in New York have them."
Don't take this seriously? Well, we hate to do this to you, so don't click if your squeamish, but, here is what these suckers can do to human flesh.
Great. And you thought your problems began and ended with the expensive minibar.
