Where The White Stripes Would Stay

Jack and Meg would love the color scheme of the Catalina Hotel.

This place is a tad grunge, but full of energy--very rock and roll.

Definitely not the place to stay if you are looking to impress your significant other. The service and condition of the rooms leaves a bit to be desired, and that might be putting it mildly.

However, if you are young, and the Catalina is offering a deal, which they tend to do, you could take advantage of the good location, the cheap lunchtime turkey burgers served pool side, and the surprisingly nice pool area.

This hotel is fairly new, so stay tuned.
