Hotel rooms in Miami beach are, what we have been calling, "beach motel chic".
Most of these hotels are old art deco buildings, and many properties have their origins in beach motel design.
What is that old saying? You can dress a pig up, but it's still a pig? Well, things are not that bad, however, when reserving a room in Miami Beach you should expect quite a bit of noise (art deco walls are notoriously thin), slow elevators, and a motel-like room. Just trying to set expectations.
The Sagamore fits the above description. Its funky decor, gorgeous pool area, unbeatable location, and amazing lobby, help you forget that you are paying dearly for a motel room.
However, as always it is the customer service that pushes folks over the edge one way or the other, and we have heard both positive and negative reports on Sagamore service.
What do you think of the Sagamore? Let us know in the comments area below.
