Raleigh Hotel: Pool Scene
Last year we reviewed the Raleigh Hotel pool scene. Since that time OJ dropped by, which obviously means it was time to check back in on the scene.
Thankfully, the Juice did not steal all the sophistication out of the Raleigh pool scene.
The Raleigh hosts a Sunday beach and pool party called "Soiree" from noon until 10pm every week. There is a live DJ and plenty of good people watching.
Oh, and yes, topless sun bathing does appear to be acceptable at the Raleigh--that is for both men and women, in case you were wondering.
During "Soiree", once the sun goes down the pool side cabanas turn into art exhibits, with local artists displaying their latest pop art offerings.
All in all the scene is sophisticated, yet comfortable.
