In Boston the winters are damn cold. The Ritz Carlton, is offering a great solution for Boston winters: swank rooms with fireplaces.

The rooms at the Ritz will be nice and toasty if you order the Fireplace Butler Package. Just offering the aesthetic of a fireplace would be way too tacky for The Ritz, they not only have functioning hearths, but also butlers to service them for you.

While the preparation of the fire is left in the hands of your butler, the choice of wood is entirely up to you. The wood menu makes Maple wood sound like Merlot.

Opened 78 years ago as a luxury hotel with the atmosphere of a private club, suites began at $15. When Ethel Barrymore, a devoted patron of the hotel arrived on a blustery day, she would find logs blazing in a fireplace in her suite. Today that feeling continues with classic suites that have the ambiance of a Boston town house.
