In our opinion puppy pampering has probably gone too far. However, the people like it, and thus, Vermont B&B offers sophisticated canines and their human tag-a-longs an experience worth mentioning.

The owners at the Inn at Maplemont Farms in Vermont have pushed pet travel to the outer limit. The Inn offers all the amenities of a New England farmhouse, and, extraordinary hosts--their two Bernese Mountain Dogs, Yuri and Engus will give you a guided tour of the estate.

There is doggie day care in the area, not to mention a dog chapel, for those infected with puppy love, and a dog-friendly art gallery.

When was the last time you heard Rufus discussing composition and light? Do you think Rufus even cared?

In case you haven't figured it out, Rufus is the name of our imaginary pet dog. Oh, you are laughing? Well we laugh right backattcha dog freak. Your the one considering taking man's best friend to an art gallery.

Be sure to ask your pooch what he or she thought of the place and get back to us. If you don't talk dog, this resort does. So you should be covered.
