I have to travel to Bangor monthly on business and at first tried the other hotels. The one I keep coming back to is the Four Points by Sheraton Bangor Airport.

From the Front Desk staff to the restaurant staff in the Wright Bros. American Grill -- everyone is so friendly and has come to treat my as family. This is so important when you are away from home as much as I am.

They just recently renovated all their sleeping rooms and have the new Four Comfort Bed. If only I could have one of those beds at home!

The food in the Wright Bros. is the best I've had in Bangor, and believe me, I've tried ALL of the restaurants in town.

You couldn't ask for a better place to stay as a home away from home.

    Wow -- Totally Renovated!

    I must add a comment to what Ms. Caylor said.  While I agree with everything, I have to update it.  This hotel has had a complete physical transformation.  I have stayed with them for a few years and they went through a radical renovation last summer.  Yes, it was trying then, but so worth it.  The hotel is absolutely beautiful now.  They have a new restaurant, Godfrey's Grille (replacing Wright Bros) and a new chef.  The food is even better than it was before.
    They have the friendliest staff and most of them have been there for years.  To me, that in itself speaks volumes.

    There are 3 new hotels in Bangor and I must admit, I have tried them out.  But I keep coming back to the Four Points.  Like Lynn said, they treat you like family.

    If you are in Bangor, you really must stay here.
